Carl. G. Singleton was born in Charleston, South Carolina where he received his primary education.  He furthered his studies at the Americus University of International Distance Learning where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree.  Pastor Carl G. Singleton, Sr. is an anointed man of God who has served in a number of capacities in the church.
 
Currently He is serving as the Pastor of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Petersburg, Virginia, and the Superintendent of the New Tri-Cities district in the Virginia third Juridiction of Virginia under the leadership of Bishop Levi Willis II.
 
He was the Pastor of Emmanuel and New Birth Church of God in Christ in Germany, where he lived for 16 years.  He also served as District Superintendent, Chairman of the Ordination  Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
 
Pastor Singleton is a retired Chief Warrant Officer for the U.S. Army where he served faithfully for 23 years.
 
Paster Singleton  has been a faithful steward in everything God has called him to do.  He is the husband to one wife; Evangelist Andrea Singleton, father to 4 children, Carlette, Carl Jr., Aurianna and Alaina.  He is also the father of a host of spiritual children, brothers and sisters in Christ.
