DR. (PASTOR) LOUISE RICHARDSON
Pastor Louise Richardson was filled with the Holy Ghost at age 10 and has played the piano for her church since the age of 7 years old. Her first recording was at the age of 14. She was the proud wife of the late (Dr.) Bishop Abe Richardson, Jr., the mother of 3 and grandmother of 7. She serves as Senior Pastor of Living Faith Ministries, Inc. In Champaign, IL.
She credits her strong faith and spiritual foundation as a result of attending Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Seaside, CA under the pastorate of Emeritus Supt. And First Lady Welton McGee. The 7 years spent there have impacted her life in such a profound way. Even after moving to GA, she yet flew to Germany to play the piano for Supt. McGee’s Revival in Heidelberg, Germany.
She served as musician, radio announcer, aided with the Sunshine Band, Sunday School, YPWW, and wrote several Plays while at Emmanuel. She use to day dream about being adopted legally by the McGees so she could be a “real daughter.” Supt. McGee was the kind of father that she never had but always wanted. First Lady McGee was her mother away from home, as well as for so many others there.
She was crowned Queen of Saints Jr. College in Lexington, Mississippi (Church of God In Christ) in 1967; Earned several Degrees in Business at Columbus Institute in Columbus, GA and Parkland College of Champaign, IL. She was Valedictorian at each of her graduations; Made history when graduating from the First Born Seminary and Training School in Waycross, GA earning her Christian Education Degree in 1 year. The Doctoral Degree of Theology was conferred upon her in a special ceremony at the University of Illinois May 25, 1998, during the week of LFM Fellowship Conference. Her Ph.D. Emphasis is in Pastoral Administrations. Dr. Richardson established LFM Enterprise, due to having a special interest in CEDC (Community Economic Development Corporation). The ministry is a "Spiritual Hospital" where people from all walks of life can experience the Agape Love of God, become whole spiritually, physically, emotionally, educationally, and financially. She is especially drawn to abused children and street people who feel unloved and unwanted. Her greatest joy in life is "Serving and Pleasing God.” Experiencing widowhood for the past 6 years, the third book she will self-publish is entitled, “If You Can Make It Through The Night.”
