She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. She earned a second Masters degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. She also holds a Doctorate in Theology from
She is the author of five books and one DVD, and another DVD, "Operate in Faith—Step Out in Faith," to be released April 1, 2010. She was listed among the Outstanding Young Women of America in 1986.
She achieved the rank of Colonel and successfully served 30 years in the U.S. Army as an Adjutant General Corps Officer. Presently, she serves as a Department of the Army Civilian at Fort Hood, Texas as the Supervisory Adjutant for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade. In that position, she leads and directs all Human Resources Management activities for the Brigade’s civilian and military personnel.
An entrepreneur, she will celebrate the grand opening of two businesses which are Mary Joyce’s Fashions, a clothing store; and Breath of Life Ministries Publishing Company on March 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., in Killeen, Texas.
