Elder Eugene B. Jones is a native son of the Church of God by Faith, born in Cocoa Florida, to Pastor Harold M. and Mother Dorothy W. Jones, Pastor of Emmons Memorial church of God by Faith located in Cocoa Florida. Eugene is the 9th of 11 children raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord. He was saved at and early age and accepted his calling into the ministry.

 

Elder Jones is currently serving as the Assistant pastor of the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, in Seaside, California, where Superintendent Emeritus, Welton McGee is the founder and Pastor. He serves as the Chairman of the Monterey District Church of God in Christ Auxiliary In Ministry (AIM) currently, under the Leadership of Superintendent Elect,Elder Paul Bates, and California Northwest Jurisdiction, Bishop W.W. Hamilton, Prelate.

 

Elder Jones is married to his wife of 29 years Missionary Mary Grace Lewis Jones, a native daughter of the Church of God by Faith, they have three children: Dominique, Detrek, and Danielle.

 

He has been employed with the California Department of Corrections, as a Correctional Administrator for over twenty-seven years. At his local church he is a Sunday School Teacher, Trustee Board Member, and President of the Ministry Team.

 

Elder Jones' constant request is found in 2 Thess. 3:1 "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:"
